We want you

Invisalign® are clear aligners that are custom made for you. These aligners are not noticeable and fit snugly on your teeth. Invisalign® shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and can rotate them when needed. Every week you will change to another set of aligners that will move your teeth gradually, following your doctor’s treatment plan.

  • Your first consultation: Dr. Travelsted will evaluate your smile and discuss whether Invisalign treatment is right for you.
  • Your custom treatment plan: Dr. Travelsted will use a scanner to create fast, precise 3D digital images of your teeth or take physical impressions. Then we will create a treatment plan that outlines how we want your teeth to move and how long your treatment will be. Your aligners are made out of proprietary SmartTrack® material. They’re virtually invisible, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them. We recommend you wear your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day for the best results, taking them out to eat and to brush and floss.
  • Your progress: As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually shift into place. Depending on your treatment plan, you may begin wearing a new set of aligners every week and attend check-ups every six weeks or so.

Creating your dream smile has never been easier with Invisalign®. Invisalign® allows you to maintain your lifestyle and straighten your teeth. With Invisalign®, you’re free from worrying about clunky metal and mouth sores.

Invisalign® aligner trays are not only smooth and comfortable to wear, but they’re also removable. That means you can continue doing all the things you normally would, from brushing and flossing, to eating whatever you like. With other devices, brushing and flossing properly can often take up to 30 minutes!

Getting ready for a big event? With Invisalign® you can just take out your aligners and put them back when you’re ready. Of course, even when you’re wearing them, most people won’t even know you’re going through treatment, because they are virtually invisible!
